Turn your Front Porch into a Community Stage

What it's all about

“SongFarmers Music Chapters” are for WFPA members to host in their communities.   It can be a front porch, living room, radio station performance area, general store, school or community center.  These are open, community, non-ticketed events. If you are interested in forming a chapter in your area, visit the Chapters Page and see how easy it is to get started

It started as a small idea and now there are well over 50 community song farmers chapters from Hawaii to Florida, Michigan to Vermont. It is the ultimate folk music project because it is getting communities to sing and gather people together in the front porch spirit of long ago. Here is the completed television documentary that will air nationwide on RFD TV

Our Members

Members range from just starting  to accomplished musicians. We encourage everyone to join in and have fun.  The best music doesn’t happen onstage, it’s in the campgrounds and parking lots. The  music, in all its forms, is best played by the members of it's own audience. Become a member of the group by Contacting Us

and letting us know you are interested

What We Do

Basically we invite friends and family over to a back yard jam. At times we end up in the living room, local community center or other venue to pick, sing and play. They invite a few of their friends and it grows from that. Nothing fancy just some good picking and singing.  Sound Interesting?  Learn more by visiting our Facebook Page
